Skunk cabbage classic is the first big race in Ithaca of the spring therefor every loves to participate. It was recommended by my physical therapist that I sit this one out; I feel I must obey despite my desire to run.
Growing up my family always had a cabin along the Allegheny River, during a young age we were busy with sports and life didn’t really visit much but since moving to New York as an ‘adult’ I have re-found the glory of easy living at camp. This weekend I shared that with Kristy.
My journey from non-runner to who I am today, someone who believes she can run 50 miles! Enjoy! Get outside and run even if you think you can never run a 5k, that is where I started just 3 years ago!
